I went to Samoa over my midyear break for a family reunion. Obviously these are photos from that trip.

A couple of tsunamis hit Samoa and American Samoa today, and unfortunately they were the worst on the South side of the island, where I have extremely poor relatives living in Satalo :(

I hope everybody's okay, although they live right on the beach here, so Im not really getting my hopes up :(

I'm not the praying type, but I fucking hope they're okay. Native Samoans are some of the poorest people in the world, but they're also the nicest people you could ever meet.
